It's my life. I want to live it the way I want to live it. Defiant statement, yes. But hey, don't everybody wants to "take control" of their life? Who wants to be always told what to do. There are guidelines as to what is right and wrong. So long as we follow them right? Consequences we bear. I'm a young adult now. Of course, won't it be nice to always be under the sheltered umbrella? But we ultimately have to learn to stand up for ourselves and grow to be responsible for our own actions. Every thing scared scared, when then will I ever try? If I don't attempt, how would I know? Oh, We can always learn from others mistakes. But hey, there's a limit to how much we can learn from others. Somethings we must experience it ourselves and then formulate a stand. Oh yes, our lives not ours but God alone. Yes, I know that. but hey, there are things that are clearly black and white and things that are subjective. Hey, let me quote from one of my brothers' in Christ "But as much as I believe in prayer, I believe in action as well." Hmm.. wonder if I will take that stand.
